Spring Cleaning

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling ready for the winter cold to pass, and Spring to happen! Spring and fall are by far the most popular times of year to have your windows professionally cleaned. This means that Spring and Fall are also the most expensive times of year to have your windows cleaned because most window cleaners are busy and raise prices according to how busy they are (classis supply and demand). I want to give you 3 ways to save money this year on window cleaning…

First, you can always do it yourself. In case you missed it we do have a nice DIY video on our home page. I will warn you that you’ll still end up spending roughly $50-$80 on basic supplies, and it may take you half of a Saturday or longer to get decent results. If your home is a 1 story home, and you don’t mind adding another project to your list then of course this is the cheapest way to go!

Second, pre-book when a sale is happening. Right now, for example we’re running a “pre-Spring sale” for just $10 per window before it gets busier. Just by timing it a month or two before the busiest time you can save a good 20-30% off. That kind of savings can really add up where it’s actually more worth it to hire a professional instead of using your day off on another task. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t normally pay for window cleaning then paying $200 for 20 windows may sound expensive at first, but it’s really not. Your windows will stay clean for a good 4-6 months, and it will save you $50 + 5 hours.

Finally, get a neighbor or two to book at the same time. It’s really common for service companies like ours to give discounts for less driving. If you can drive to one location, and have multiple jobs at the same neighborhood then it only makes sense to pass that savings on to the customers.

Don’t forget to clean your windows this Spring, and if you’d rather us do it for you then we hope you’ll fill out the online quote form or give us a call.
