Back to School

If you’re a parent like me then you know Lowndes County in South Georgia just started school this week! This is both exciting and busy for everyone who has kids or works in a school. It can also be relaxing in some ways as it frees up some time for parents during the day. My boys are entering 5th grade and 8th grade. I’m really proud of both of them, and excited to see what God has planned for this year! You may not know this about me, but one of the main reasons I started window cleaning in 2019 was to be there for my kids instead of paying a daycare. I’m not saying that’s the right path for everyone, but for me personally it has been a blessing to be there every day after school and each morning before school.

My favorite season of the year is right around the corner (fall). I’m really looking forward to the temperature going from feeling like an oven all the time to more comfortable outside. I’m also looking forward to more football, family gatherings, and making new friends. From a window cleaning perspective, it’s just so much nicer working outside during fall than summer.
